We just wanted to let you know that it has been a pleasure building an Ence home. From the beginning, the realtors were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the homes they are selling. They kept us informed about buying our lot and building our home. We always felt comfortable going to the model home and asking them questions about the area or the homes. All the realtors at Ence homes were great to visit with.
Amanda Phelps [in the Ence Design Center] was a joy to work with and very helpful in making the choices that we needed to make. We were very impressed with all the contractors that came to the pre-construction meeting. They all helped us to work out what we needed to do to stay within our budget.
Thanks to [the Ence Homes’ landscaping subcontractor] for the beautiful landscaping. We debated if we should do our backyard ourselves or have a friend do it. We are so happy that we had him do the back, there is no way we could have made it as lovely as it is now. He did an awesome job.
[The Ence Homes’ framing subcontractor] is amazing [and was] very kind and very good at their job.
Now, hats off to Jim Cobb [our Ence Homes’ superintendent], he has been wonderful to work with. We probably drove him nuts but he was always very professional but like a best friend, he kept us calm and informed through the process. We felt like we always had stupid questions, but he always insured us that there was no such thing as a ‘stupid question’. He wanted to make sure that we were happy with our home. He talked to us daily and explained everything that was going on. He is really great to work with. We so appreciated him for sending us pictures while we were still in Cache Valley.
From what we observed he was very kind to all the workers. He made building a home fun instead of the stressful stories we had heard from our friends.
We have had friends that have built homes with other companies and we have heard nightmare stories about their process. It is a pleasure to tell our friends how great it was to work with all your people.

My husband and I are from Canada and we had one day to spend in St. George to find a home before we had to head back to Canada. I had found an Ence Homes development on the net and fell in love with it. Before we came to Ence Homes that day, we went and checked out a few other new developments and then we came to Ence Homes.
We went into your show home and met your on-site agent. He showed us various floor plans and explained the quality workmanship that Ence puts into the homes that they build. He then took us to one of the homes that was already built. We saw that home and that was it for us. We knew we had found the right builder, the right neighborhood, and the right floor plan. We signed on the spot.
Buying a home and moving can be a stressful experience, but Ence Homes and their staff went the extra mile for us to put my husband and I at ease.

My goodness…. What a beautiful home! I have had a big smile and a few tears of joy all afternoon realizing that my home is at this stage so quickly and looks so amazing. When you are at the design center, you are hoping that everything will look well together, and I am so very happy with the results.
Doing business with Ence Homes is an absolute pleasure. When I read the papers you sent of what to expect next, I realized that because of my conversation with Cody, I really expected my home home to be finished at the end of May; I hadn’t ever heard the sixty-four days from the time of pouring the footings! Even finishing in May would have been amazing to me. Homes in our community take between six to twelve months!
May I also say that the quality of work that I have witnessed is most impressive. I have friends who are looking forward to the day when they can have this experience. I have shared photos and my experiences with Ence Homes, and they have been so impressed because they all know what a perfectionist I am and how anal retentive I can be about how things ought to be accomplished in this life! I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of building in the St. George area to go through the building process with the Ence team. The father of these men has to be so impressed with the expectations, work ethic, and business acuity they have developed to turn Ence Homes into such a thriving business.
You, Del Ray, are priceless to work with. I so value the honesty, integrity, patience, and thoughtfulness you have given to me, a woman who knows very little about this whole building process and who has a tendency to worry myself sick about things I do not understand well.

We have had a lot of construction activity at FQIF in the past year and Ence Homes built our building with no problems. The normal problems of a cluttered work-site, noise, delays, and miss-communication were simply nonexistent.

Liked the efficiency of the building process as materials and service personnel arrived in an extremely coordinated manner. Once footings, foundation, and slab were poured, the house progressed in a “high performance” fashion and the entire project was completed in about 90 days! I had questions and requests during the build and contacted the construction superintendent, Tyson, who responded immediately to my full satisfaction. As expected, once in the home, there were a few issues to resolve and Tammy Williams, Warranty Manager, responded quickly and coordinated the scheduling of sub-contractors who fully resolved the items. This was our first newly constructed home and people would often comment that we are going to have problems! This was not the reality as our experience was as perfect as one could expect. The communication through out the process by our super was amazing and made sure all our concerns and needs were met. Mark was amazing during the construction process and couldn’t have been happier with anyone else. He took the time to explain everything during construction when I’d stop by and ensures all of my concerns were met. He went above and beyond in making sure the little things were done such as our dog door framing and 2×6 behind where a tv would mount. It was an exceptional experience.
