R42 ATTIC INSULATION
R-Value indicates a product's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power the more energy you will save. A home built to code in this area would have a minimum attic R-value of 30. Ence Homes' standard attic insulation is fire resistant, formaldehyde-free, and has an R-value of 38, which is 21% more insulation than a home built to code. 15 SEER ELECTRIC HEAT PUMP
The Ence Green Package features York's® 15 SEER Electric Heat Pump, which delivers environmentally-friendly heating and cooling, and quiet, ultra-dependable performance for whole-house comfort and lower utility bills. JUMP DUCTS
Jump ducts are used to equalize room-to-room temperature and air pressure and improve energy efficiency. A register on the ceiling of the room is connected through flexible ductwork to a register in the hallway's ceiling. When the bedroom door is closed, air exits the room through the jump duct into the hallway, and then moves through the hallway to the main return duct. This system allows air to move easily from one room to another equalizing temperature and pressure throughout your home.
AIRTIGHT CAULKING
A tightly sealed home improves comfort and indoor air quality while reducing utility and maintenance. RAIN SENSOR
The Rain Bird® Rain Check monitors rainfall levels and automatically overrides the controller to prevent unnecessary irrigation cycles and reduce your utility bills. Adjustable stainless steel sensing probes offer the flexibility of triggering the rain shutoff between 1/8" and 1/2" of precipitation. Once triggered, it does not change irrigation programs, but automatically interrupts the watering cycle.
